HIGHLIGHTS
- Extensive background in Design, Production and Prepress since 1995 on MAC and Windows platforms.

CONCEPTUAL LEADERSHIP
- Established a cohesive visual identity for the Office of Human Resources at the University of Minnesota while working closely with clients, vendors and project managers.
- Taught, managed, advised, trained and mentored dozens of Graphic Design students at Minneapolis Business College in the subjects of Desktop Publishing, Web Design, Electronic Layout and Professional Development providing an accurate simulation of a real-world graphic arts workplace. Also scheduled several inspiring field trips and guest speakers.
- Has worked in a team environment as well as a one-man department doing all phases of concept development, design, production and education.
- Organizing fine artists is an exercise in herding cats. As producer, writer, and performer I organized over thirty artists on numerous occasions in the production of critically-acclaimed and award-winning performance events.
GRAPHIC TALENT
- Skilled in computer graphic functions of a creative and technical nature. Actively work as designer, illustrator, production artist, preflight and prepress artist for a diverse array of companies.
- Having earned a BA in Intermedia Arts and having worked extensively in all aspects of the graphic arts industry I bring a broad understanding of how to approach new technical problems strategically with little or no learning curve. I regularly solve problems in these areas:
Production/Prepress: agency production, typography, proofing, trapping, color correction, media output, preflight, digital imaging, vinyl cutting, mock-ups, RIP applications, darkroom maintenance, litho plating, screen print and flexo production.
Design/Media: Designed fleet graphics, labels, point of purchase displays, brochures, magazine ads, trade show booths, web pages, screen prints, books, posters, CD graphics, cards and other promotional materials.
FINE ARTS ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Masterminded several performance projects which have
earned grants of as much as $10K each from organizations such as MRAC,
COMPAS, Minneapolis Arts Commission and the Minneapolis Department
of Cultural Affairs.
- Released four music recordings, written five original theatrical scripts and staged seven plays acting as Producer, Performer, Musical Director, Grant Writer and Publicist.
- Performed in a leadership role in six music ensembles.
- Played on the same stage with world class musicians in the Twin Cites and throughout the United States.
- Provided original music, sound production and texts on several films, albums and large scale theatrical projects for other artists and producers.
